Dr. Jason Busse recognized as University Scholar
Dr. Jason Busse has been recognized as a University Scholar for his work in pain research.
University Scholars are mid-career researchers who have distinguished themselves as international scholars and have demonstrated a commitment to the discovery, communication and preservation of knowledge, excellence in education and pedagogy and to serving local and global communities.
In addition to his role as Director of the Michael G. DeGroote National Pain Centre – a role he has held since 2018 – Dr. Busse is a professor with McMaster University’s Department of Anesthesia, a joint member with McMaster’s Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact, and a Canada Research Chair in Prevention and Management of Chronic Pain. Dr. Busse also has contributed to more than 300 publications.
