The Institute for Pain Research & Care Research Day is open to anyone in the McMaster community with an interest in pain research. First held in February 2019, the Inaugural Research Day was attended by Institute research members, post doctoral fellows and graduate students. The conference featured updates from Institute-funded projects and pain-related studies within the McMaster community.

The most recent Research Day was held in May 2023, at the Royal Botanical Garden’s Rock Garden. It featured presenters from the Department of Anesthesia, the Institute for Pain Research and Care, the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine, the Departments of Surgery and Health Research Methods, Evidence & Impact, the Population Health Research Institute and the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

Our next Research Day will take place on April 24, 2024 at The Gas Works in Hamilton, Ontario.
